Quick update from MC2
We apologize for not having much up this week from MC2, but trust us, we’re having a great week! (Albiet a very busy one!)
Here are some of the answered prayers so far:
- Mission site work is going smoothly and there have been no major injuries (Thus far! Please pray for this to remain true!).
- The weather has been great. There was a severe threat Tuesday but it never materialized.
- Worship has been very meaningful. Brad Beals and Darrell Cook have done an outstanding job pointing all of us to God.
- Free time activities have gone quite well. Swimming is always popular as is Capture the Flag. In fact, there will be a rematch of Capture the Flag tonight!
- Stop Hunger Now was awesome! We packaged 15,000 meals in just a little over an hour. At least 200 campers gave up their free time to come help, which is commendable.
- In addition to two television stations, we received some more media coverage today thanks to the Lynchburg News-Advance. Read the article here!
Here are a few pictures from children’s classes and Stop Hunger Now. We’ll post up mission site pictures later.
